For this design, I collaborated with my mom—a painter—to reinterpret elements from the embroidered tablecloth that inspired the collection. She focused on the plum blossom at the center front, translating it into a series of ink paintings. I layered and recolored her work into a two-toned print: a navy blossom over a navy base, with a white shadow behind it to create subtle contrast and depth. Finished with hook-and-eye closures.
